Gary and I headed to the cobblestone town of Medicine Park in the beautiful Wichita Mountains of southwest Oklahoma. Easter Week we flew into Oklahoma City to spend time with our family.
Our son, Luke, his wife Angela, and their four girls make their home in Medicine Park where they own a unique toy and book store, Discovery Outpost.

A few days later the six of us headed north to the historic, quaint town of Guthrie where we met up with our son Rex, his wife Lanie, and their son and daughter. For the next few days Rex and Lanie’s place became home to the twelve of us. It was a joy to be together again!
Easter Sunday, we worshiped our Lord Jesus together at Frontline Church, where Rex is part of the staff.
As I think about my life, as I think about my family…I am reminded of God’s faithfulness…and this song, “My Tribute” written by Andra’e Crouch comes to my mind:
How can I say thanks for the things
You have done for me?
Things so undeserved yet You gave
To prove Your love for me
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude
All that I am, and ever hope to be

GOD KEEPS HIS WORD.
In James 5:16b we read, “The prayer of a righteous person (mom/dad) is powerful and effective.”
Have you been praying for your loved ones and not seeing answers? Don’t lose heart. Continue praying. God’s timing is not always our timing. Yet, I have experienced His faithfulness, in HIs timing, again and again and again. Praise the Name of the Lord Jesus forever!

My dear sister Rosie, How quickly the time has gone by. I thank my God and my Savior for His faithfulness! Truly, how can we say thanks for all the things He has done for us?
