YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

Over 35 years ago, God gave Gary Barrett a vision of a Lighthouse. As the light shined out of the Lighthouse, people were drawn to Jesus and received the free gift of salvation. Then, those Believers went out into the dark world shining His Light as His Ambassadors, His disciples to the lost.

God has called this ministry to EVANGELIZE the lost, EQUIP the Church for acts of service, and ENCOURAGE the brothers and sisters in Christ.We preach and teach God’s Word; give away FREE Bibles and other resources; minister to co-workers at the Shalom Lighthouse Retreat Center; care for the hurting through the Compassion/Benevolence ministry visiting the sick, grieving, lonely, often forgotten people–in their homes, hospitals, nursing homes, or hospice settings; as well as ministering via the Video Phone (VP) and through various social media opportunities.

Every time I’ve had the opportunity to preach or teach this is what I always share–because it is my heart, “Do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the Family of God” (Galatians 6:10). ~GARY BARRETT, FOUNDER
