2018 Go into all the world

FieldsRipeReadyHarvest

"Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone." (Mark 16:15).

DID YOU KNOW:

There are MILLIONS OF DEAF PEOPLE around the world, and Wycliffe Bible Translators has, so far, discovered over 400 DIFFERENT SIGNED LANGUAGES!

The Deaf are one of the most OVERLOOKED AND LEAST EVANGELIZED PEOPLE GROUPS in the world with 98% of the Deaf still waiting to "HEAR" John 3:16, "For God so loved the Deaf world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Almost 35 years ago, God gave me a vision. The vision was of a Lighthouse...as the light shined out of the Lighthouse, people were drawn to Jesus and received the free gift of salvation...then, those Jesus followers went out into the dark and lost world shining the light as His Ambassadors, His disciples. It is humbling to see how God has used this ministry, and continues to use this ministry, to fulfill that vision.

We need your help. I believe this is an historic time for reaching the Deaf Community with the Good News of Jesus. Prayerfully consider partnering with us through your prayers and financial support. THANK YOU!

Since 1989: Sending HIS Light and Truth to Deaf people everywhere!

God was waiting for me

God was waiting for me

by Rhonda Barrett ~   The first day of 2018, I was laying in bed…waking up. I could sense the Holy Spirit drawing me like a magnet, a gentle magnet, wooing me to my prayer closet. I sat up in bed and whispered, “I am coming.”   I got out of bed, wrapped my bathrobe […]

Doing something hard…might be what God uses to do something very good

Doing something hard…might be what God uses to do something very good

This month, December, every Sunday at the church Gary and I attend, there has been time set aside in the beginning of the service…to focus on children––caring for children through Foster Care and Adoption.   Before the preaching…a couple…or family…joins the pastor on the stage for an informal conversation. And they share their story. Each […]
