MISSIONARIES EUGENE AND LINDA GEHM

IMG_0671Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. … for, everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:9-13).

Jesus Christ’s Great Commission is to tell lost souls about Him. In 1989 and to this day, in Mexico, Deaf people are taught how to pray and invite Jesus Christ into their lives in order to become saved. It is wonderful to share these testimonies of what God is doing in the Mexico Deaf Mission Field.

God bless the faithful pastors and teachers for their obedience to Jesus Christ.

Teresa is teaching the Bible to the Deaf people in Xoxocotla every Saturday. Sometimes, they watch the videos of the Bible teachings in Mexican Sign Language. We are thankful for the marvelous technical equipment for the Deaf in Mexico. Glory to God!

Update regarding Teresa’s hysterectomy surgery February 2018. While she was recovering from the surgery she was not able to go to Xoxocolta and teach. She is now feeling better and has started teaching again. Please continue to pray for Teresa. Thank you.

Mario and Yanet are faithful in ministering to the Deaf people and children in Jojutla and Toluca.

Good news, the pastor of the hearing church (where they have services) is giving Mario and Yanet a nice big room in the hearing church for the Deaf services. The Deaf have begun construction to renovate the big room turning it into two or three rooms.

Mario and Yanet and the Deaf people are very excited. Rejoice in the Lord for His provision!

Thank you so much for your faithfulness with your prayers and financial support. The Mexican leaders and teachers do very much appreciate your support. They desperately want their own people to have eternal live with Jesus Christ and work hard to teach and make them disciples so that the Gospel can be spread in their country.

The Mexico Deaf Missions’ needs are great. Perhaps the Lord is speaking to you about donating money to help reach Deaf men, women, and children across the country, Or perhaps God is leading you to specifically help with the renovation of the new Deaf Church in Jojutla. If so, when you make your donation, be sure to add the comment, “Jojutla Deaf Church”.

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12).

THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTFULNESS IN PRAYING FOR AND SUPPORTING MEXICO! GOD BLESS YOU!
