Mexico Missions!

Rev. Eugene and Linda Gehm, along with Pastor Jim Smith and seven people from North Creek Deaf Church in Vancouver, Washington have arrived at Rancho Sordo Mudo (RSM) Deaf school.

The RSM is located in Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, Mexico and is about 1 1/2 hours southeast of Tijuana. There are approximately thirty Deaf children that live at the residential school.

The church group is helping at the school by painting the campus buildings, cleaning, maintaining the campus grounds, repairing what needs to be fixed, helping with kitchen duties, etc.

They are especially excited to have this opportunity to share God’s word with the children.

This week the ministry group is performing Bible skits and teaching the children Bible stories.  Eugene preached at RSM on Sunday, March 12.

On March 19, the ministry group will go to a Deaf church in Ensenada, about 30 minutes west of RSM. There they will be sharing God’s word in drama and Eugene will preach the message in the church service.

Please pray for the safety of the group from North Creek Deaf Church.

Pray, too, that the lives of many Deaf will be touched.

Pray that God will draw the Deaf into a relationship with Him.
