LLOL – Live Love Out Loud – COST

LLOL – Live Love Out Loud!

RhondaILY

It’s easy to say or sign, “I love you”…let’s put our love in action and LLOL – Live Love Out Loud.

It will cost us something to Live Love Out Loud.

It may cost us everything to Live Love Out Loud.

What does it mean to LLOL?  What does it look like to LLOL?

Jesus is our example and for sure Jesus did LLOL! So let’s take a look at a few verses and see what Jesus did:

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed.” (Mark 1:35)

“After He (Jesus) had dismissed them, He went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone…” (Matthew 14:23)

“But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (Luke 5:6)

Jesus often spent time with His Father in prayer and listened to the Father’s Words of life, wisdom, and guidance.  In the presence of Love (since God is Love) Jesus got what He needed to Live Love Out Loud.  If Jesus, the Son of God, had to make time in His day for prayer…then we for sure need to make time in our day to be with Our Father and pray, too!

It will cost us something to make time to be with Our Father.  For me, it means choosing to get out of bed instead of sleeping in.  Sometimes it means choosing to be alone with God instead of hanging out with people. Sometimes it means reading my Bible instead of watching TV.  Sometimes it means…  What does it mean for you?

Yes, to LLOL, to be like Jesus, will cost us something; maybe not our life…only our time.

Let us Live Love Out Loud…When we stand before Our Father we will be so glad we did…just imagine…we will already know Him because we have spent a lifetime talking to Him and listening to Him!

TO GOD BE THE PRAISE!

  • David L. Halcomb says:

In our Deaf Group at church, we have several deaf people married to a hearing spouse. Thanks for not only being an example of God’s Love for the deaf; but also for your faithful ministry in “standing by your deaf man”. I also am profoundly deaf and have a hearing wife. She is ever so precious.

  • David, Thank you for your kind words…it is just what love does and I am super blessed to have Gary in my life for 43 years and counting. God bless you and Mickey. May the HolyDays be extra special and a blessed New Year to you and your family.
