Well done good and faithful servant

Sunday morning, August 26, 2012, Pastor Jimmy Schwyhart went home to be with Jesus. Pastor Jimmy was a co-worker in the Deaf Harvest Field and our dear brother in the Lord. Thousands of people will miss Pastor Jimmy–man of God, man of faith.  When we get the “official obituary” we will share it with you.

Janie, his precious wife shared, “My beloved husband, Jimmy Schwyhart, went home to be with the Lord early this morning. How fitting that he went on a Sunday, his favorite day of the week. Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.”

Jimmy worked tirelessly for the Lord for many years and was very enthusiastic about sharing His faith in Jesus. He was a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus who will be greatly missed. Prayers for his precious family and his church members would be greatly appreciated at this time.

As many of you know Pastor Jimmy was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in September 2011, had surgery, sadly the doctors were not able to get all.  The last year of his life was lived like the previous years of his life–filled with Faith, Hope, and Love!

Meeting Pastor Jimmy was a blessing. I have been very blessed to sit under his ministry on three different occasions. Each of them gave me a perspective of humility, compassion and love that is commanded of us in Scripture. This man of God was deaf-in-it-ly a blessing to me and I am all the more richer for it. While the “light around me is a little darker due to his passing, it only means I must trim the wick in my own life to be a brighter blessing to others. THank you, Pastor Jimmy for your persistence, your patience and your presence as an example of His grace in our lives! I will certainly miss you!
